have you noticed i love the view from here?
i hope you enjoy it as much as i do..
a tranquil aqua day at bondi beach, such a contrast to the wild seas here a while ago. the colours of the ocean and the pool just say relax to me.
for those not familiar with the area..
the icebergs swimming club was originally started in 1929 by a dedicated group of local lifesavers to maintain their fitness in winter. one of the rules to keep membership was that swimmers must compete 3 sundays out of four for 5 years. this rule continues today and sometimes big chunks of ice are thrown into the pool in winter to make it even colder.
just a summer swimmer myself.. i look forward to diving in soon!

So beautiful-I don't even usually like to swim and now I want to go swimming!
ReplyDeleteI love the oceanside pool! I remember visiting my first one in Newcastle when I was 10 - I was surprised to discover that the water in the pool was seawater - is the Bondi one seawater, too?
ReplyDeleteLove the images!
