picnic on the deck

i always love the change of season and the warm feeling you get when spring arrives.
today i'm taking the inside out for a picnic on the deck.
liking all the white outside, the combination of found and collected things, the fabrics of this pale blue and white striped turkish towel and cath kidston vintage style nautical cushion i made a while ago, with wicker and white lighting up a deck neglected over winter and creating a sunny place to relax.

have a great week
:)

  33. Your deck looks very inviting, indeed - it definitely calls for some relaxation time.

It's getting to be deck weather around here, too, but it's the end of summer. Summers in Texas are usually too hot to spend time out on the deck, so when summer winds down, and the temperatures drop into the 80's during the day, it's the perfect time to sit outside on the deck or patio, so I'll be enjoying some patio time, too.
