my island home

hi..how was your weekend?


this is a post i did last spring. i'm bringing it back for the summer mantel link party at the lettered cottage. looking at this on this cold morning is reminding me of the warmth of summer.


with the help of gaugin prints i cut & framed from a spare art book, hibiscus, shells, a mini pineapple and iphoto i created a vintage island mood.









hope you enjoyed the trip to the tropics.

    Thanks so much for the tropical escape. It was beautiful here in Pennsylvania today, but winter is on its way and the temperature reflects that. Thanks for the temporary escape!!! It looks great!!!!!!
