ocean pools

holidaying in my own backyard .. there are 3 ocean pools we can walk to from our place and with the beach pretty packed at this time of year, it's good to escape the crowd and dive in to one of the salt water pools. a gorgeous morning, this new year's day, after weeks of ordinary weather, the sea extra bright blue, great for photos. sorry if i'm rubbing it in with many of you in the middle of a freezing winter.

& after a swim you can treat yourself to a massage by the sea, out on the deck above wiley's baths. what better way to relax to the sound of the waves.

the water was great by the way ;)

  5. You live in paradise! Beautiful photos. I love the last pic of the (plumeria?)flower. If that's a plumeria, I have never seen one that shade of peach. You are not rubbing it in. It's so comforting and relaxing to visit your blog (inspiring, too).

  7. They are such a great place, especially if you are a bit scared of sharky's like I am, for some reason I think I'm safe on a surf board though?

  8. Ocean pools is something we dont have on the Gold Coast and so wish we did. Ocean swimming is just the best and can't stand heading to pools anymore. The ocean wildlife still scares me a little;)
