caravan

the humble caravan has definitely made a comeback. is it the nostalgic memories they bring back of summer holidays on the beach?
i love these vintage caravan conversions. great for a guest house in the backyard, a beach holiday or even a bird house. if you follow me on facebook you will have already seen a couple of these.

  1. Oh my God, how I love retro caravans. My next project is building a teardrop caravan, to go with the beach house of course.

  3. Absolutely love the black one, and the glimpse of vintage French interior styling. And you've given me a great idea! Since I'm thinking about converting the old workshop/chookhouse (no, the chooks didn't sleep on the work bench - it's divided into 2 walled off spaces) at our NZ cottage to a sleep-out retreat I've been wondering what to do about creating a new workshop space, if only I could get my hands on a vintage caravan that dilemma could be solved!!

  13. I've got The Man on the lookout for my own Gypsy Mobile Studio... a Vintage Vardo or Airstream would be one crossed off the 'Bucket List' of Desires! *Winks*
