the humble caravan has definitely made a comeback. is it the nostalgic memories they bring back of summer holidays on the beach? i love these vintage caravan conversions. great for a guest house in the backyard, a beach holiday or even a bird house. if you follow me on facebook you will have already seen a couple of these.
Absolutely love the black one, and the glimpse of vintage French interior styling. And you've given me a great idea! Since I'm thinking about converting the old workshop/chookhouse (no, the chooks didn't sleep on the work bench - it's divided into 2 walled off spaces) at our NZ cottage to a sleep-out retreat I've been wondering what to do about creating a new workshop space, if only I could get my hands on a vintage caravan that dilemma could be solved!!
I've got The Man on the lookout for my own Gypsy Mobile Studio... a Vintage Vardo or Airstream would be one crossed off the 'Bucket List' of Desires! *Winks*
Blessings from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
I would seriously love one!
ReplyDeleteOh my God, how I love retro caravans. My next project is building a teardrop caravan, to go with the beach house of course.
ReplyDeleteI would love the chance to stay in one sometime. The second one down is so cute!! xo

My mum has one in her back garden which we've decked out with Cath Kidston fabrics and bunting.
ReplyDeleteThose caravans looks so stylish and homely, much nicer than the ones I use to visit on holiday as a child!
