i like birds

Hello.. i'm taking you shopping again today.
Another cute Paddington store right near Lazybones in the character filled William St.

'I like birds' feels like a trip to Nana's house. A light, bright and happy place with lots of interesting new and vintage homewares to look at.
The owner Tamara is a florist with a great eye for displaying all her treasures. She liked my quinoa recipe and now takes it to work for lunch! :]

A fabulous collection of old bottles & very reasonable prices. I bought a couple while i was there.
You can never have enough turkish towels.

A choice of vintage style posters, wrapping paper and cards.
Wouldn't you love a cabinet like this with all these drawers?

I love this potted succulent in the macrame hanger. Takes me back to the seventies.

Anything take your fancy?

  6. I like birds too. You have so many lovely shops in the eastern suburbs. Can't wait for Pottery Barn to open in Bondi next year. I'll be coming down for that and then I can check out all these lovely independent shops and cafes you are showing us.

  7. The chest of drawers is lovely but so are the blue and green bottles next to the parrot. As if the genie will come out of them in a smoke.AriadnefromGreece!

I especially would like the turkish towels and If they were big enough

  14. What a lovely shop, I would have definitely bought the bottles I can resist them or vases! I haven't seen a plant in a macramé hanging for years! I remember making one at school in the seventies!
