white christmas table

It still seems a bit early to be talking about Christmas. All I've done is a bit of decorating and not much else. I'd be quite happy to take care of that part and leave the rest to someone else, but that's not going to happen.
Here's an idea for a simple white table setting. The doilies came in handy again, white hydrangeas from our lovely neighbour's garden, with lots of candlelight & fairy lights to add some magic.

Have you done any Christmas decorating or shopping?

  3. My family's tradition is to start decorating the day after Thanksgiving here over here in Florida - USA. The first tree went up last night for the 1 yo grand-nephew. The wonder in his eyes as he saw the lights pop on was an amazing thing. I love the seastars with the stars in the lantern. Such a simple but elegant tablescape. You probably need some time on the beach to mull over your Xmas decorating plans before you jump in ;)

  6. Your table is lovely! I especially love the flatware - it reminds me of a set that my parents own. Just gorgeous!

I haven't done any Christmas decorating (or shopping!) yet - I'm going to be really busy at work for the next two weeks, so I'm just waiting until things slow down there.

  14. My little boys have decorated their room, with all their op shop finds from the last 2 years, looks amazing in a shiny, glitzy, gaudy 70's type way- but they have done a great job of putting it all together!

  15. I love your white Christmas table it looks so pretty. I usually use colours of red and green to add warmth to our dark and cold days, but your setting is so fitting with the sunshine and summer.
