simply country living

A change of scenery with a trip to my Mum's place in the country. I thought you'd enjoy seeing some of the cute old buildings and beautiful scenery of the Southern Highlands in and around where she lives. Peaceful settings and a beautiful time of year with a touch of Autumn in the air,  extra pretty and lush after some heavy rain.

The Southern Highlands is about 1 1/2 hours drive from Sydney.

See you later in the week with some vintage shopping spots in the area.

Have a great week!

  3. I wouldn't mind visiting mom if that was the location. Don't get me wrong, I loved visiting with my parents, but I preferred that they come to our little beach town instead of us fighting traffic into the suburbs of Los Angeles. That is one reason we bought a beach house. We figured when/if we ever had grandchildren then they would want to visit grandma and grandpa at the beach.

Have a lovely weekend in the country.
