Bondi Beach
Have you seen these aerial shots taken by Uge (Eugene Tan) of Aquabumps this New Years Day? I could see the white helicopter hovering overhead from my place when these were taken. I love the colour and design created by all those miniature people, their towels and umbrellas.
It was hot and crowded, just how he likes it for his aerial shoots. To add to the excitement that day a shark had been spotted from the headland at Bondi which caused a mass evacuation of the water at midday.

A local identity Uge has been photographing Bondi Beach and surrounding areas at daybreak for 14 years now, with a huge following of over 40,000 daily email subscribers.

We've just survived a 42 degree (108 fahrenheit) day yesterday. Keeping all doors and windows closed and blinds down made a big difference to the temperature inside. So good to wake up to cooler air outside this morning.
How did you survive?
How did you survive?
My thoughts go out to all those affected by bushfires in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.

ReplyDeletehere and there. We are several miles from the beach. The beach here never gets that
hot just the inland areas.
Cool photos would make great artwork!

Extraordinary pictures. I was just talking about Australia yesterday when a colleague told me the story of the Ugg boots I wear in winter .. It is since I started blogging that I realize the huge difference between lifestyles in the Southern and Northern hemispheres !
