today i'm taking you with us for a cruise on the harbour with it's secluded, and not so secluded sandy beaches, sandstone shoreline & historic houses in a tinnie (small aluminium boat).
all this is only 5 or 6 km from the city
hope you enjoyed the ride as much as we did
too many photos for one post

it is a truly beautiful part of sydney and a great way to experience it all in a tinny!! there is something very special about sydney harbour. it always makes you feel good. i was recently down there for a couple of days for work christmas celebrations. we were over at pyrmont on the water sipping champagne all afternoon. lots of fun. xo

ReplyDeleteYou do this great city such justice. Wonderful shots. I have to say I'm partial to the little Optimist yacht the kiddos are sailing. The Beach House Brat races in one of those each Sunday arvo.
ReplyDeleteI adore your phototography. You really show Sydney at her best.

ReplyDeleteYour images always astound me, how stunning! We live further inland and our closest body of water is a river and it certainly is not these gorgeous blues and greens xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl - I am getting excited as I am hoping to do just that when I am up there in March - but maybe on a ferry & not a tinnie!

ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific tour in Sydney. I missed the beautiful city. Hope to visit there again in the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, with the photos. They are adorable and I am imagining every photos you post. I even heard the water splashing.
Rather than winter, cold & dark.
What an opposite weather we have.
