shell chic tablescape

no flowers? no worries. shells , succulents, candles, jars and string are all you need to dress up a simple white tablescape. it's easy to create something beautiful with what you already have and what you have found.
our table ,the middle chair & the ladder were roadside finds..i was pretty excited when i found these! the ladder back chairs were st vinnies finds $15 each. i primed and painted all with dulux whisper white.
i've painted a lot of things white over the years.. i'm always amazed how much white paint makes everything look better. it's an easy way to decorate and lightens up any room.

  12. very pretty dining table arrangement :) I'm wondering about your strand of shells, did you string that together yourself? I'm using shells for a project but find it takes a little time to drill holes in them. I like how that strand is so densely clustered together.

  21. I really love that tablescape! I wish I had funds to replace my china. We still have the same china from when we got married 6 years ago. It's chipped in many places and even though it says it's safe, it is SO not safe for microwave use. I learned that the hard way and burned the holy guacamole out of my hands.

  24. This is so lovely, such a feeling of tranquility you've created. That seashell runner is stunning, I'll have to get out some shells and start gluing now, lol.

What great "finds" and the chairs for $15? Gosh, they are well over a $100 in the stores here, so you really made out on this whole setup!
