The remnants of tropical cyclone Oswald. He's done a lot of damage up north and sent heavy rain and huge seas a long way down the coast.
Loving the beautiful afternoon light after the rain. Great to see surfers enjoying waves at a beach where there's usually not much of a swell.
Thinking of all those affected by floods in Queensland and northern NSW.

great shots of a somewhat ferocious sea...hope it doesn't bring all the mess (debris) with it. We have crazy random items dumped on our beaches.

DeleteThanks, Cheryl. We made it through safely, but are still waiting for Energex to switch us back on. Been without power for FIVE days!! Can't complain too much; there are others who're doing it tougher. My daughter was out in the thick of it as she's an SES volunteer; now she's about to be deployed to Bundaberg - so a bit on the worried side, there! Glad you guys fared better through Oswald. Hx
