The remnants of tropical cyclone Oswald. He's done a lot of damage up north and sent heavy rain and huge seas a long way down the coast.
Loving the beautiful afternoon light after the rain. Great to see surfers enjoying waves at a beach where there's usually not much of a swell.
Thinking of all those affected by floods in Queensland and northern NSW.
great shots of a somewhat ferocious sea...hope it doesn't bring all the mess (debris) with it. We have crazy random items dumped on our beaches.ReplyDelete
have a great day!
we just got the tail end of it, nothing compared to where you are bec xDelete
I just love looking at all ur pics, they are so beautiful.ReplyDelete
thankyou, so glad you enjoy seeing our beaches :)Delete
Thanks, Cheryl. We made it through safely, but are still waiting for Energex to switch us back on. Been without power for FIVE days!! Can't complain too much; there are others who're doing it tougher. My daughter was out in the thick of it as she's an SES volunteer; now she's about to be deployed to Bundaberg - so a bit on the worried side, there! Glad you guys fared better through Oswald. I forgot to add...thank you for those uplifting pics! They give me hope. :) HxReplyDelete
Well at least the surfers got to enjoy a positive effect from something that was a negative for so many! The good always comes with the bad!ReplyDelete
