It doesn't matter what time of year it is, I always love white. Cool in summer and somehow white feels cosy in winter. Maybe it's because white reminds me of Scandinavian style... just add warm rugs, a sheepskin and candles.

I love white but am realistic about what it will look like after about a week in my home. Dog-hair and kiddie spills galore! I do love the way it looks though and I second adding in some blue for a classic splash of color.
