shabby coastal

hi everyone..how was your weekend?

gorgeous weather here feels like spring. daylight savings finishing and gaining an extra hour was nice on a lazy sunday.
we saw a great movie this weekend i recommend to all...
"the best exotic marigold hotel". loved everything about it and i think you will too, if you haven't seen it already.

this is the look i'm liking at the moment. white on white with a touch of aqua and faded roses.
a white sheet thrown over a sofa that needs recovering works well and a shabby old bench i found and gave a quick coat of paint becomes a coffee table.

& bella making herself at home.

  20. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways!! First there's that amazing double-decker mantle (what a great way to add more space!); then there's that driftwood sailboat that's to die for; throw in the paddle, the pillows, the turquoise accents, and the pale roses and oh!! Bring me my fainting couch (or perhaps I could use yours? It looks so comfy!!) ^_^ Thank you for this lovely inspiration!!

  23. Very pretty! I am a fan of white and aqua makes my heart sing! Love the little pink roses too. We throw a sheet over our white slipcovered couch in our family room to keep some of our chocolate Lab's hair off it. Sheets wash so easily too.
