south head walk

an easy 1.5 km walk around south head national park at the entrance to sydney harbour... with history and romance of shipwrecks.

a rare week day off last week with my partner, a perfect sydney autumn day.

relax.. sit back and enjoy the view.

guns were installed in the 1800's in case of invasion

the original indigenous inhabitants used the area intensively for fishing & the abundance of edible plants.

hope you enjoyed the scenery as much as we did.

camp cove and watsons bay are located about 11 km from the city, a scenic ferry ride.
