happy friday

it's the simple things in life that matter most & make us happy.

these are some simple things that made me happy this week.

doing most of my christmas shopping very quickly 
without spending a fortune


the idea of giving 
pretty wrapping 
brown paper tied with torn fabric
handmade cards


vintage style letter & number stamps
a treat for myself


a new plant on the deck
mandevilla "aloha" 
i love you


our pink mandevilla that just keeps flowering and looking beautiful with very little care

    love the wrap Cheryl. I often use brown paper for wrapping then paint stuff on the paper. What makes me happy? Well, seeing Cold Chisel in concert the other night made me really really happy. I'm still happy! have a great weekend. Jane x

    I remember Cold Chisel (and Jimmy Barnes)... I was more of a Split Enz (with Neil Finn) myself...

    Lovely wrapping Cheryl, I really do need to take more pride in mine...I love the frangipani that is flowering apparently quite rare, it is a deep red, so beautiful and I grew it from an offcut. OH and the hightides we are getting at the moment, the water we live on always looks so much nicer with a high tide!x
