vintage treasures

Following my previous post these are a couple of vintage wares shops I visited. I've always loved the name of The Everything Store in the tiny village of Sutton Forest. It's been there for as long as I can remember and a lot longer than that.. a store since the 1830's. I'm sure a lot of you have driven past or stopped and are familiar with this part of the world.

Newer to the area is Dirty Janes Emporium, a treasure trove of vintage and antique wares on the main street of Bowral. Out the back is a flea market with over 50 small stores.
I had fun getting lost in here for a while!

I love these chopping boards and rustic letters

very 5o's style beach umbrellas and colour

vintage surf style

I bought a couple of small things that will probably show up in future posts. I couldn't resist that pile of blue books.
The table made with an old door is something I might one day do with mine.

  6. Oh wow I would have loved to lose myself in those gorgeous stores. Often when driving through places I only wish we could stop but deadlines must be met. I'd love to get down there soon.

  9. I could have got quite lost in here too, I loved reading about the story behind the name. I liked the pink and blue kitchen cabinet, I have recently seen a few vintage ones here too that have not been altered, what a great improvement this is.I love those old soda bottles and umbrellas too!
