gone to the beach




Winter nights and mornings seem extra cold this year, but days like this make it bearable. 
I can't complain. With a growing number of homeless people and refugees in the world we are lucky to have a roof over our heads and a warm bed.

 Just a few iphone pics on a beach walk in my neighbourhood..


Grateful to feel some warmth from the sun and noticing it getting higher in the sky every day.

Got to admire the winter swimmers.





Not long 'til spring..

    I cannot imagine spending a winter like that LOL - just a little different than a Montreal Winter :)

      it doesn't compare to your winters suzan. ours is short, but without a lot of heating. x

    Walking on the beach in winter is one thing.......but swimming......I'm not that keen. It looks stunning and yes we are so lucky to live in a wonderful country! x

    I definitely need some of those sun shining winter days to get me through. In fairness there is probably only about 6 weeks of winter left and then it will be September and warming up again.

    Gor-jus pics, enjoyed taking the walk with you! Is that a "pool" where the swimmers were or an old building foundation filled with water or other ... it's very interesting looking and I've not seen anything like that before, so I'm curious. Thanks!

    Weird to read about winter in July since I am on the other side of the world. Looks like a beautiful place -- even in winter. I'm in the US on the East Coast -- right outside Boston, MA. My winter looks quite different.

    the winter swimmers are definently a lot braver than me!!! I like the water around 30degrees, clear and calm! have a wonderful weekend cheryl! xx

    On our part of the coast, I admire summer swimmers without wetsuits. the water just hasn't warmed up yet this summer.
