repurposed boats





It's great to see these weathered old wooden boats given new life. They add lots of rustic nautical charm and character to these homes, gardens and outdoor areas.

    Love them all.

    When we bought our little cottage, we called it "The Boat House" because there was an old rowboat in the garden filled with flowers. Unfortunately, after 5 or 6 years (I don't know how long it was there before us) it just rotted away. Today I was gardening and came across a bit of the remain down deep in the soil.

      shame it rotted away.. i guess that would happen with wooden boats eventually. x

    Very cool ideas, I have a child size canoe I want to repurpose in the garden some day!

    Love the idea of the boats being used as chairs and sofas. Lovely. I saw an old boat on the roof of a house in Santorini. Not sure why it was there?
