i've had the sewing machine out again to make simple cushions using some of fabric i've collected.
there's nothing like blue and white stripes to freshen up a room and i'm liking a touch of green for a spring makeover in our living room. still a few weeks 'til spring but we're well and truly ready for it!
we really enjoyed the very uplifting new australian film 'the sapphires' this weekend. an emotional journey of a 4 girl aboriginal group who triumphed over adversity in the late 60's. based on a true story it received a 10 minute standing ovation in cannes this year.. due to be released internationally.
I love these new cushions, the hint of green is very fresh.

ReplyDeleteLove your simple pillows. I just made white slipcovers this summer and was commenting to my daughter tonight that I can easily swap out pillows for a different look.
