i thought you'd all enjoy a trip to the society inc in the sydney suburb of paddington. this amazing shop belongs to sibella court, one of australia's most well known stylists.
it's like an old hardware and habidashery store filled with interesting collections, homewares & curiosities from her travels all over the world. so inspiring! sorry about the poor quality photos taken on the ipod.
sibella's new book 'the biography of a bowerbird' is due to be released in october. it's all about collections and collecting with ideas on how to display them in your home.
i'll be back later in the week to show you some snippets from the new book. with the first chapter called beachcombing, it's one i'm looking forward to.
