vintage day bed

It's feeling a bit like Steptoe & Son here with vintage furniture, old doors, ladder and driftwood finds piling up on the front verandah and down the hallway.
But.. I couldn't resist this cute cane day bed on the roadside. We cut some foam to fit & wrapped it in some white fabric I had, for now, until I get around to making a proper cover.

Have a great week!

  3. Now I am sure you know I love her. She is gorgeous. Luckily for the environment there are people like you and I on this planet, who love other peoples junk.

  12. This is a fabulous find. We call it rattan here and it is expensive here. I doubt if I would find this on the side of the road. I rarely see anything here on the side of the road.
