Goodbye Indian summer.. A wet and wild start to the weekend and a drop in temperatures reminds us autumn is here and winter isn't too far away .. it's kind of nice to be bunkered down inside.
Getting cosy with candles, a warm rug, some favourite magazines, the colour turquoise and dried blue green hydrangeas.

Looks almost exactly like my weekend......except prettier.
ReplyDeletea good one to be indoors wasn't it :)
DeleteWhat weather we had this weekend. At least the garden won't need watering for a week. Your lovely living room would have been a great place to snuggle in during the storm. Beautiful.

that's one less thing to do. nice to have a change, but i'm not looking forward to winter much! x
DeleteLooks so cozy and warm and almost makes me wish for another storm like the one Saturday brought.x
ReplyDeletethanks sonia :) x
DeleteLooks cozy. I'm so sorry the warm weather is leaving you and coming our way. Sorry for you, but so grateful for us. x
ReplyDeletewe've had a long summer, so it's only fair to let you have some warm weather now danielle x
DeleteWe actually had beautiful weather on the weekend up here- won't last though! Seems to be much cooler in the evenings and mornings now!
ReplyDeleteLooks so warm and friendly your home! We are still waiting for spring... But maybe he is on the way?!? Linda
ReplyDeleteI am on the opposite season as you, but I have to say, I love the beginning of the fall. It is so hard to get projects done during the summer because the beach calls out to me. So when the air cools down and the sun hides behind clouds, I find the time to create.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week.
The mornings and evenings are just starting to get cool here, but I don't mind, it's nice getting cosy isn't it?
ReplyDeleteLike Kylie said, we've had chilly mornings and evenings but the days have been glorious. Can't wait for the real cosiness to begin here though!

Your living-room is so inviting! I really needed such inspirational pictures today as my own living-room is complete chaos since ugly renovation phase 3 just begun this morning!
ReplyDeleteYour shelves are so pretty for displaying your shells and treasures! Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteI love to snuggle up with a good magazine and my favorite candle. Love the numbered pail and the turquoise vase. We're 80 degrees for the past few days. It got warmer. It's still cool at night.
